Lots of the right kinds of people are up in arms over Roosh’s latest post calling out the manosphere as it hit some a little too close to home. Hopefully it’ll be a wake up call to many.
I’m glad I came into the sphere in 2010 because if I found it today I would have nexted that shit in ten minutes.
The manospambots have been winning a slow war of attrition that has really come to a head over the course of this past year, choking out quality commentary and flooding the sphere with mental masturbation, collapse porn, racism, and yes, bitterness.
Theory has become divorced from practice. Nerdlings slice and dice “hypergamy” (try and say that word out loud without wanting to cut your dick off) like they never went to high school and noticed girls like cool dudes. People call themselves “red pill” like it’s some lame cult badge of honor (Hi, my name is Bob and I’m red pill! Dorks).
Men supposedly go their own way while telling everyone about how much they are going their own way.
Dudes brag about banging HB6.3.23s.
“Men” comment on girl blogs because anonymous comments are the only way women will take them seriously.
It has, for many, become a knitting club for losers. Circle jerking about “sluts” and “hypergamy” and “red queen” scenarios and fat chicks and woe is me, blaming women for their problems and finishing it off with tears for lubricant before bedtime in the basement. Throw the sock on the floor, pass out, and repeat the next day. It is so fucking negative all the time it’s a cesspool. I don’t even know how some of these guys have the time to post and comment so much.
This isn’t group therapy. This is liberation.
Your “red pill” views supposedly opened your eyes. There should be no bitterness, no anger, no hatred. You have been given a map full of alternative paths to take, or better yet, trailblaze yourself, yet you rage at the blocked road ahead.
You have legit dudes like Roosh, D&P, Dagonet, Byc, Naughty Nomad, my buddies at NLU, or any one of the top posters at RVF telling you *exactly* what you need to do to get girls, make money, travel more, leave the country, get jacked, dress well, eat healthier, learn new languages, what have you- it’s almost all out there. Whatever you do with this incredible mass of information is up to you, but to squander it with negativity and mental masturbation is to spit in your own face.
You can become a better version of you with some willpower and elbow grease. Those times when I get an email or a comment from a reader telling me how much better his life has gotten since stumbling into this corner of teh interwebz makes my day more than any new lay and almost as much as a new PR. How his life was shit and everything was all messed up but he put in the time and effort to change and now he can’t believe where he’s at now. I want everyone to be like those guys, to be able to look back five years from now and not even recognize who they were because life is so much better now- how is that anything but amazing?
Get out of the basement and party, mack on some chicks, lift some weights, read some cool books, experience the world. This shit is supposed to be fun and exciting.
Life is too short as it is, why waste it being a loser?
